Fishtown (2 bed, 1 bath)—Another option that offers more space for the same price point—in this case, $1,210—is this Fishtown apartment, which has two bedrooms and balconies that look out over the neighborhood. In addition to the space, it has a granite-countertop kitchen, sleek hardwood floors and a washer and dryer in the unit.

Kensington (1 bed, 1 bath)—Kensington is becoming an increasingly popular neighborhood, and this sleek, one-bedroom apartment might explain why. It’s got a long living and dining area that empties out into a kitchen with white quartz countertops and recessed lighting. A bedroom in the back has high ceilings and sliding glass doors that open out to a private balcony.
