Renovated Fishtown home offers contemporary character for $575K

A Fishtown home that underwent major renovations—including ripping out hardwood floors and sub-flooring—has been given a sleek, new look with some very contemporary touches.

The three-bed, three-bath home, which sits at the north side of Fishtown, opens to a living room with hardwood floors and contemporary gold light fixtures. In the back sits the kitchen, with a granite waterfall center island and more funky lighting.

The second floor has two bedrooms, both of which feature tall windows and exposed brick walls—the second bedroom is staged as a study here. There are also two bathrooms on this floor, both with cool artistic themes. the first has a copper and black stone design over the sink, while the second features graffiti-style art and a sharp—and very bright—blue shower.

The third floor has the final bathroom and bedroom, as well as access to a roof deck. The whole place is 2,300 square feet and has seen some serious renovations since its last owner. That’s left it with a price jump, too—up $400,000 since it was last sold in 2016.
