It’s a two-bed home with recent renovations

Manayunk is a neighborhood with a ton of hidden residential gems—and this place at 4704 Mansion Street fits that bill.

Behind its arguably ordinary grey and black facade, the interior of the two-bed, 1.5-bath home has a ton of character. The living room features high ceilings, hardwood floors, and an exposed brick wall. It leads back to the dining area, which has a bright blue hanging lamp.

Behind the dining room is the kitchen and the bathroom, which sits almost hidden in what looks like a closet area.

Like many Philly rowhomes, the back door of the kitchen leads out to an enclosed back patio. But this one has something unique—a stone wishing well.

Upstairs, the two bedrooms have the same aesthetic as the living area—hanging lamps, exposed brick, and industrial light fixtures. A bathroom on the second story features tile floors and a floor-to-ceiling window.

Plus, for additional space, there’s a basement area with stone walls and a washer and dryer.

The home was built in 1925, but recently underwent massive interior renovations. Despite the improvements, it only increased slightly in price since it was last sold in 2017 for $204,000.
