Philly became home to a whole new kind of retail Thursday morning when the city’s first medical marijuana dispensary opened just steps from City Hall.

The store, which sits at 1206 Sansom Street, has a lengthy menu of cannabis-related items including “dry leaf (flower), concentrates, oil cartridges, capsules, hard concentrates, tinctures, topicals, batteries, chargers,” according to a statement from Beyond/Hello, the group behind the store. They’re selling products only to people with valid Pennsylvania medical marijuana cards.

Dubbed “Beyond/Hello Center City,” the dispensary is the second of its kind in the area; the first opened last May in Bristol, Pa. They’ve been issued a total of 12 dispensary permits for the entire state, so it’s safe to say they plan to open more Pennsylvania dispensaries soon.

“We’ve created a welcoming, comfortable and professional space for patients and caregivers to talk with our staff, ask questions and learn about medical marijuana products that may help manage their conditions,” the company’s president Blythe Huestis wrote in a statement. She added that a second goal of the new dispensary will be to broaden the public’s understanding of medical marijuana and its benefits.

The new store accepts cash only (but there’s an ATM on site) and it’s open weekdays and Saturday at 9 a.m., and Sunday at 10 a.m.
