Look out over the river, the museum, and Center City

Alcove Media

A renovated, split-level spot with views of the water and the art museum just came on the market this week, asking $645,000.

The three-bed, three-bath home is tucked away in the Rivers Edge condominium complex, which sits just north of Market Street, along the banks of the Schuylkill River, and it makes use of that desirable location. A hallway of windows with views over Center City leads to the private place, which features a foyer with a wall-mounted fireplace, and a guest bedroom that gazes over 30th Street Station.

Down a few steps, in the lower level, is an open room with a kitchen and living area, topped off with a balcony that looks out over the river and the Philly Art Museum.

More bedrooms and another balcony sit upstairs, and these offer floor-to-ceiling windows for lots of light. At 1,700 square feet, it’s all fairly tightly packed together, but those views make the place seem a lot more open. It was built in 1980, which you may have guessed from the hallway’s glass block design. There’s no HOA fee, but the listing notes that there is a condo/coop fee of $1,065.

Interested? There’s an open house for the spot on Sunday from noon to 1 p.m.
