New Rittenhouse high rise, the Laurel, lists $25M penthouse

The city’s newest luxury high rise, the Laurel, just listed its $25 million penthouse, with sweeping city views, 9,000 square feet of space, and five balconies.

The four-bed, six-bath penthouse is, “offered as a blank canvas” that allows buyers to create a home that’s “uniquely theirs,” according to the listing. It comes with four valet parking spaces and an allowance to finish designing the place.

The penthouse will sit on the 48th floor of the high rise, which is still under construction at 1911 Walnut Street. When it’s completed in 2021, it will be the city's tallest residential high rise.

The tower will hide a lot behind its glassy facade. It includes retail on the first few floors with rental units on the floors above, up to the 26th story, where there will be a whole floor of amenities. The top stories feature 60 condos, which start at 1,700 square feet for $2.4 million.
