There’s plenty of windows and stone

Jack Zigon

One of the Philly-area’s most prolific modern builders, Robert McElroy designed a lot of homes around the city that feature high, pitched ceilings, walls of windows, and plenty of hardwood.

And one of the places that best exemplifies McElroy’s style is this Bryn Mawr home, which recently listed for $710,000. The four-bed, 2.5-bath spot offers 2,500 square feet of space with impressive views of the trees and greenery that fill the 1.3-acre property.

The interior features modern touches throughout, especially in the light fixtures and the large black fireplace that accents the living room. However, for many people, the biggest draw will be the windows, which stretch from floor to ceiling and take up entire walls in the home.

The home is being shown by Marion Dinofa of BHHS Fox and Roach.
