It’s worth the trek

Pocket windows, reading nooks and skylights are just some of the details tucked away in this modern Elverson home, which recently came on the market for $450K.

Designed by architect Walter Harvey Dunning, the four-bed, three-bath home has a lot of modern features, like a low roof, plenty of straight lines in its interior design, and wood details throughout.

And, while the home embraces the minimalism that’s so popular in mid century design, it also features tons of hidden details, like a cushioned reading nook, interior windows over the kitchen, and storage space behind a fireplace.

Located at 225 Trythall road in Elverson, the home is a bit of a hike from Philly, but you’ll be glad when you get there. It sits on over two acres of land, and includes stunning mountain views and access to hiking and walking trails. It’s being shown by Marion Dinofa of BHHS Fox Roach.
