Map: Philly Landmarks Featured in the New Rocky Movie Creed

View as Map

The seventh installment of the Rocky series, Creed, debuted last week and has garnered rave reviews and Oscar buzz. But we like to think the real winner of the film is good 'ole Philly—and so does Tessa Thompson, the movie's female lead: "My favorite character in the movie, actually, is Philadelphia," she told The Morning Call. Creed tells the story of Adonis, the son of Rocky's opponent Apollo Creed who comes to Philly to train under Rocky. Much of the movie was shot in the city, as seen by the various landmarks featured in the film, including the famous Philadelphia Museum of Art's Rocky steps and the Italian Market. But some newcomers make appearances, too, such as the Schuylkill Banks Boardwalk. We compiled all of the Philly locations featured in Creed in the map below. Did we miss a spot? Let us know in the comments and we'll add to the map!
