Center City is undoubtedly the hotel hot spot, with a majority of accommodations located in this vicinity. But there are some new options in University City, the Navy Yard, and Fishtown, too.

Today, it’s transformed into the Logan, an energetic and artsy—there’s a collection of 1,800 pieces of local art—Hilton hotel with a roof deck overlooking the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. This new venture from the folks behind Postgreen Homes brings a new “invisible service” concept to Lokal at 139 N. 3rd Street in Old City. There are no concierges, but each delightfully designed room is equipped with a digital guidebook, kitchen, and swoon-worthy furniture and products made by local vendors and makers. Penn's View Hotel is the perfect option for travelers looking to stay in the the quaint (and quiet) part of historic Old City, Philadelphia. It offers views of the Delaware River and is a short walk to the Betsy Ross House, Elfreth's Alley, Christ Church, and Independence Mall. Yes, even Franklin Fountain is right nearby. Wm. Mulherin’s Sons hotel portion opened in late March, becoming the first hotel for Fishtown. Guests can grab their keys from the restaurant hostess downstairs (the restaurant and hotel are located in a former whiskey distillery). Designed for both overnight and extended stays, the rooms come with fully-equipped kitchens and are pretty much a vintage-lover’s dream. Just book early: There are only four hotel rooms available.
