6 Churches for Sale in Philadelphia

View as Map

All across the country, sacred spaces have for sale signs tacked onto their doors. At worst, they're at risk of demolition. At best, neighbors rally to save the property, with the help of developers converting the place of worship into residences or office space. Fortunately in Philadelphia, a number of churches have been saved from the wrecking ball due to the latter: Take the St. Laurentius Church in Fishtown, for example, which was once at risk of demolition and now will be preserved and converted into residential units.

Here, we've compiled a list of places of worship that are up for sale in Philly, from a $3 million church in Graduate Hospital to a quaint little chapel in the River Wards area.

This map will be updated as listings come and go, but if you know if another property, leave a comment or email philly@curbed.com with the details.
